How to prepare artwork for custom stickers

Resolution, file types, bleed and transparent backgrounds — everything you need for a perfect print.

Great stickers start with a great file. Here's a quick checklist our designers use for every order.

Use the right resolution

For raster files (PNG, JPG) aim for 300 DPI at the final size. A 3-inch sticker needs at least 900 × 900 pixels. Vector files (SVG, AI, EPS, PDF) scale to any size without losing quality.

Remove the background

For die-cut stickers, export a PNG with a transparent background. We cut around the visible shape and add a thin white border automatically.

Mind small text

Text smaller than 6 pt can be hard to read on small stickers. Keep important details at least 1/16" away from the edge.

Colors

We print in CMYK. Very bright RGB colors (neon greens and blues) may look slightly less saturated in print. Your proof shows the closest result.

Not sure? Upload what you have — we'll check every file and send you a free proof before printing.
